01

Blackjack Trainer 21 at a glance

Blackjack Trainer 21 teaches blackjack from basic strategy to advanced card counting through guided and progressive training. It combines interactive basic strategy drills, a progressive Hi-Lo card counting course and Smart Coach analytics, with instant feedback, targeted weak-spot drills and clear explanations.

No account is required. Guests can start drilling basic strategy straight away in the web trainer.

PRO subscriptions are available on the web (billed through Stripe) and in the iOS app (billed through the App Store).

02

Who it is for

Blackjack Trainer 21 is for people who want to learn the mathematically correct move for every blackjack hand and then learn Hi-Lo card counting. Newcomers are pointed to basic strategy first.

The recommended progression is: basic strategy until consistently above 95% accuracy, then Hi-Lo tag values, single-deck counts, multi-hand table simulations, and finally bet sizing and true count conversion.

03

Basic strategy trainer

Strategy drills deal a player hand against a dealer upcard and ask for a move: stand, hit, split, double or surrender. Right or wrong, the trainer shows the correct move immediately, with an explanation of why.

A Strategy Table gives a reference chart for every hard, soft and pair decision against the dealer upcard, for the selected table rules.

Pairs is available to free users. The other "Train on your own" modes are PRO.

04

Smart Coach

Smart Coach is a PRO feature. It runs adaptive drills weighted toward the hand types a user misses most, based on their training history.

05

Card counting course

The card counting course teaches the Hi-Lo system step by step: assigning a value to every card, keeping an accurate running count across multiple hands at real table pace, and using the true count to recognize when the odds shift in the player's favor.

Lessons unlock as each level is mastered. Free users get the first counting lessons; the full course, including pro-speed drills, is PRO.

06

Stats and table rules

The Stats page shows strategy drill accuracy and weak spots for Today, 7 days, 30 days or All time. Settings holds the table rules used by strategy drills, the strategy table and card counting practice; changes apply immediately to drills and the strategy table.

The default rules are: dealer hits soft 17 (H17), 6-deck shoe, double after split allowed, late surrender allowed.

07

Pricing

Training starts free with no account. PRO unlocks the full card counting course, a personalized training plan, all strategy training modes, advanced expert explanations and unlimited hands and drills.

Web and iOS subscriptions are billed separately (Stripe on web, App Store on iOS) and pricing may differ by platform. PRO benefits apply to the account wherever it was bought.

PRO subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled by the platform the subscription was bought through.

Frequently asked questions

PRO unlocks Smart Coach, advanced drill modes and the full card counting course including pro-speed drills. Free users get core basic strategy drills and the first counting lessons.

How much does PRO cost on the web?

On the web, PRO is available as Weekly ($9.99 per week), Annual ($79.99 per year) or Lifetime ($149.99 one-time). Weekly and Annual start with a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Web payments are processed by Stripe; the iOS app is billed through the App Store and its pricing may differ.

Is web and mobile pricing the same?

Web and iOS subscriptions are billed separately through their respective platforms (Stripe on web, App Store on iOS). Pricing may differ by platform. PRO benefits apply to your account regardless of where you subscribed.

Does Blackjack Trainer 21 involve real-money gambling?

No. Blackjack Trainer 21 is for educational and entertainment purposes only. It does not operate a casino or facilitate real-money gambling, and its training tools are for practice only, not for use inside casinos.

Which card counting system does the course teach?

Hi-Lo. For most players, Hi-Lo is the best choice: it balances power and simplicity, and it is the industry standard used by professional teams. The course teaches it step by step, from card values to a running count at real table pace and the true count.

What is the best way to train?

Start with basic strategy until you are consistently above 95% accuracy. Then learn Hi-Lo tag values, practice single-deck counts, progress to multi-hand table simulations, and only then work on bet sizing and true count conversion. Blackjack Trainer 21 follows this progression.

Is card counting illegal?

No. Card counting uses only your brain and the information visible on the table — the same information available to every player. As long as you play by the casino's rules and do not use a device or software to track cards, you are not breaking the law in most jurisdictions including the United States. Using a phone app or electronic device to count cards is illegal in many places. The Blackjack Trainer 21 training tools are for practice only, not for use inside casinos.
